I recently discovered that a group of guyz from Soweto are busy making moves, and assisting all sorts of artistic and talented individuals to grow in the process. Nkateko, Linda and Tumi are working together to bring Soweto the Open Jam Sessions that take place on Fridays. the purpose of the sessions is to fuse all art forms and provide a platform for artists.
The founder, Nkateko, plays a guitar. co partners Linda is a bassist and Tumi aka Bobito is a self taught illustrator, sketch addict and cellist.
I will try and cover some the events and profile the artists that perform there.
their slogan is: Open Jam Session NOMA YINI BOZA YAMI
catch the next session

I just love the lady assisting the bride, her hair. SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL
The other Saturday my friends and I got together at Mpho’s house for our monthly society meeting and to celebrate her birthday. What was supposed to be just a lunch, ended up being just a crazy time of good food eating, lots of wine drinking, soccer watching (of course, could not have missed Orlando Pirates), horn hooting, baby swinging, twerking and all other things I cant remember. I also got a chance to use my new camera.
eventually, someday, in this lifetime, I will be able to do this…
